Dr. Gillian’s experience was the first General Surgeon in the Region to be trained in Robotic Surgery and has been providing this service to his patients when appropriate since 2009. The typical case that Dr. Gillian uses the DaVinci Robot for are listed below. Occasionally we do find very unusual cases for which the robot platform is very useful. One of our cases was so unusual that it was presented by Georgetown Surgical resident at a national meeting.
